The Challenge.
BGC Canada’s existing youth engagement platform was in need of a significant technical upgrade. With hundreds of records and thousands of content pieces, updating and optimizing the operating system without disrupting the user experience was no small feat.
The goal was a seamless, updated, incredibly impactful tool—and Troon was up for the challenge.
Our Strategy.
The team at Troon began the upgrade of BGC Canada’s online platform with a comprehensive audit. After determining the optimal server choice (while balancing cost, maintenance, and security factors) Troon migrated the platform and executed the upgrade from Drupal 9 to Drupal 10 seamlessly, implementing custom modules to resolve issues along the way.
To ensure ongoing viability and continuity, Troon produced detailed documentation, developed and integrated new administration and reporting features, and improved key UX/UI elements.
