The Challenge.

GRTHealth™ wanted to revolutionize their remote care services by creating a seamless, unified platform for patients to record their vitals using various IoT devices from home. They needed a solution that would not only encourage patient engagement but also ensure data accuracy and security. The system had to trigger real-time alerts for critical readings, consolidate data from multiple devices, maintain comprehensive health records, and integrate interactive health assessments.

Our Strategy.

Troon built GRTHealth’s original industry-leading platform. All of our custom software builds begin with a meticulous Product Requirements Document (PRD) that defines system architecture, user flows, and key components.  That means GRTHealth could efficiently scale their product without accumulating technical debt. Troon’s unparalleled expertise in healthcare solutions and mobile app development brought GRTHealth’s vision to life with the creation of its Home Health Hub.

The Android application, running in kiosk mode, seamlessly integrates with various IoT devices. It automatically collects vital signs data, eliminating the need for manual entry and ensuring both ease of use and impeccable data accuracy.

To maintain patient engagement, Troon incorporated a backend scheduling system that prompts patients to take their readings on schedule. A straightforward UI minimizes user burden, and historical readings are displayed in a user-friendly graphical interface, making trend analysis and monitoring effortless. This simple user interface was key to ensuring compliance and usefulness for an older demographic. In the event of critical readings, healthcare providers are immediately notified, ensuring timely intervention.

Final Design.

Conclusion

GRTHealth’s Home Health Hub does more than just collect remote patient data; it fosters proactive care through timely reminders and an intuitive interface, facilitating swift intervention when necessary. This empowerment of patients leads to improved data accuracy across the board, positioning GRTHealth as a leader in delivering exceptional remote patient care.

Currently undergoing successful beta testing with rave reviews, the Home Health Hub is set to revolutionize healthcare delivery from the comfort of patients’ homes.
