Alvara Protocol is shaking up the world of decentralized finance (DeFi) by introducing a revolutionary approach to asset management with the ERC-7621 standard. Their platform empowers anyone to become a tokenized fund manager, building, launching or investing in “merit-based” baskets on the blockchain.
Alvara offers creators the ability to initiate a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) for decentralized management, supporting both discretionary and DAO-controlled baskets.

The Challenge.
On their journey to pioneer a tokenized basket factory, Alvara needed a partner who possessed deep expertise in the web3 space. A product-focused powerhouse was required, capable of taking ownership of the entire engineering vertical. This partner would not only meticulously build and scale the product to launch perfection, but also act as expert consultants, shaping the product roadmap and propelling Alvara to the forefront of DeFi innovation.
Our Strategy.
Troon formed a structured development environment that served as an extension of the Alvara team, collaborating on everything from initial ideas to testing new features. We ensured a well-rounded team of expert developers alongside high-performing product and project managers with deep subject matter expertise.
Next, we streamlined the product engineering process by implementing agile methodologies. This shift enabled us to establish a complete product roadmap, starting with a meticulous code audit, leading to the mainnet launch of Alvara.

Conclusion
With a strong technical team by its side, Alvara has successfully launched the ALVA token on both the Avalanche and Ethereum mainnets and is on track for the Alvara product’s mainnet launch by December 2024. This positions them as a gateway to on-chain asset management, redefining the future of ETFs. Their innovative approach has garnered significant impact in the DeFi space, further bolstered by a strong community exceeding 52,000 on Twitter.
Users will also be able to stake their ALVA tokens and receive veALVA as staking rewards starting in early November 2024 on the Ethereum mainnet, a significant milestone for the project and its community. The full product, featuring complete DAO capabilities, will launch in early January 2025 on the Ethereum mainnet.
