The Challenge.
Troon Technologies was asked to build a Blockchain based Art Marketplace Solution. The product needed to have highly robust foundations in its control panel. All CMS pages needed to be easily managed from the administrator panel so that it could be handled by users with limited technical knowledge.

The application needed to have the following three main core areas:
- Marketing Piece
- Web Application
- Public Facing Area
- Private User Area
- Admin Panel (Back Office)
Our Strategy.
As the product features were evolving during the discovery, design check-ins, tech. sync up and backlog grooming sessions, a consistent backlog needed to be created and maintained. The project followed Agile and Scrum methodology, breaking deliverables up into sprints of initiatives, epics and stories.
Accessibility.
During and after designing the UI we tested the interface with some tools and processes to make sure that it was accessible, emphasizing important areas and watching for all interactions involved.
Features:
The application needed to have the following three main core areas:
- Figma plugin STARK to determine the color contrast and font size readability for accessibility.
- Heat map/eye tracking testing on the main screen of the design using VISUAL EYE plugin
- We try to user the 10 Usability Heuristics for User Interface Design which includes:
- Visibility of system status
- Match between system and the real world
- User control and freedom
- Consistency and standards
- Error prevention
- Recognition rather than recall
- Flexibility and efficiency of use
- Aesthetic and minimalist design
- Help users recognize, diagnose, and recover from errors
- Help and documentation
- Evaluate design as per Gestalt Law principles
