The Challenge.
Real Time Monitoring
GRTHealth needed a fully integrated and seamless service delivery platform based on a combination of hands-on and virtual care, coupled with 24/7 medical and non-medical remote monitoring. Implementing these sensory devices required us to build interfaces for each in different languages and integrate based on their specific needs.
Scalable Hosting
Given the multiple integrations, alerts and highly mathematical reporting, the GRTHealth system needed to be able to perform accurately in real time while handling the exponential increase in number of users.
Seamless Configuration
GRTHealth required the ability to alert everyone linked to a client/patient. Users (care-givers) needed to be able to configure alerts by defining the criteria based on data collected by different sensor types based on their requirements.
Our Strategy.
Component Based Development
The project code will be divided and organized using a component approach. Each component folder contains its own functions and HTML related to it. This ensures everything can be reused later if needed.
System
Architecture.
The system architecture needed to be designed in a way to ensure data was being received, authenticated and authorized seamlessly and securely.

Conclusion
Just as the system is designed to learn and adapt to individuals behaviour, our product and development team needed to do the same with this project, solving complex problems with frequent release dates.
GRTHealth technology, including the platform developed by Troon Technologies, currently supports the largest publicly-funded remote care monitoring program in the province of Ontario.
Development of the foundational GRTHealth product is complete, with additional features and enhancements, under development, with the assistance of Troon Technologies.
